Staff Development Program (SDP) on “MS excel and MS word for workplace productivity”
A Staff Development Program on “MS excel and MS word for workplace productivity” was organised by Dr. Shikha Singh from 7th to 8th November 2019 at SCMS NOIDA. The program resource person was Dr. Kriti Priya Gupta, Professor of Statistics and Operations Research at SCMS NOIDA. This program was specifically customised & designed for the office and administration staff members of SCMS NOIDA. The SDP was conducted for 6 hours each day, divided into 3 sessions which included lab sessions as well. The SDP’s objective was to increase the proficiency skills of the participants and provide exposure towards efficient use of various tools within softwares’ such as MS-Word and MS-Excel required in day-to-day operations. 12 staff members attended the SDP.
Faculty Workshop on "Basic Econometrics and Time Series"
The workshop was conducted from 7th to 9th November 2019 on “Basic Econometrics & Time Series” by Dr. Ajay Kumar Chauhan, Professor at IMT Ghaziabad for 5 hours each day. The registrations for the workshop were open for external as well as internal faculty members and research scholars in the area of Economics and Finance. The basics of econometrics and time series was covered in the workshop using R software. The workshop had a total of 9 participants.
Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Structural Equation Modelling using AMOS”
A 3-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Structural Equation Modelling using AMOS” was organised from 6th to 8th February 2020. The objective of the FDP was to provide hands-on training to develop and test models using SEM with AMOS software. The program was led by Dr. Kriti Priya Gupta, Professor of Statistics and Operations Research at SCMS NOIDA. The FDP was conducted for 8 hours each day, spread over 3 sessions. This program was open for several academicians, research scholars and industry professionals outside SCMS NOIDA and enabled them to explore and analyse their own research practices systematically and effectively in their various research endeavours. Few internal faculty members also attended the FDP.
Staff Development Program (SDP) on “Performance Enhancement”
A Staff Development Program on “Performance Enhancement” was organised by Dr. Shikha Singh and Dr. Rishi Manrai from 21st to 28th August 2018 for the staff members of SCMS NOIDA. The objective of the SDP was to improve the communication skills of the administrative staff members. It also aimed to upgrade their skills for day-to-day activities making use of enhanced IT skills. The program resource person was Mr Girish Bhatia (Founding Partner and Certified Coach, John Maxwell Team, Florida U.S.A), Prof Alaka Nanda Swain (Visiting Faculty, SCMS NOIDA) and Dr. Kriti Priya Gupta (Professor of Statistics and Operations Research, SCMS NOIDA). This program was specifically customised & designed for the office and administration staff members of SCMS NOIDA. The SDP was conducted for 6 hours each day. The SDP’s objective was to enhance participant’s knowledge in both quantitative and qualitative aspects of administrative jobs. 12 staff members attended the SDP.
Joint FDP by SCSM NOIDA and STLRC, Pune on “Emotional Intelligence”
A 2 days FDP on “Emotional Intelligence” was organised jointly by SCSM NOIDA and STLRC, Pune from 6th-7th May 2018. The objective of the workshop was to help the faculty members learn the art of Emotional Intelligence. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Rinku Sanjeev, Faculty SCMS NOIDA. It helped the faculty members to learn emotional skills and intelligence. It also helped many to identify their hidden qualities and how they can utilise the same at the workplace. A total of 24 faculty members from SCMS NOIDA and SLS NOIDA attended it.
Joint FDP by SCMS NOIDA and STLRC, Pune on “Structural Equation Modelling”
A 3 days FDP on Structural Equation Modelling using the AMOS software was organised jointly by SCSM NOIDA and STLRC, Pune from 8th to 10th May 2018. The objective of the FDP was to upgrade the research knowledge of the faculty. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Kriti Priya Gupta, Faculty SCSM NOIDA. A total of 24 faculty members from SCMS NOIDA and SLS NOIDA attended it.
A Staff Development Programme was organised on ‘Effective communication skills’ for the Staff members at SCMS NOIDA from 3rd to 4th Nov 2016 . A total of 9 staff members attended the SDP.
A Faculty Development Programme on ‘Advertising on Branding and advertising’ was organized from 14th to 20th June 2015.
