Symcharcha'24

Symcharcha '24, the 11th edition of the Literary Club’s flagship debate, was an intellectual battlefield where logic reigned supreme. As an Asian Parliamentary Debate, it brought together sharp minds, compelling arguments, and fierce competition. Words clashed, ideas sparked, and every speaker left sharper—whether as a winner or a learner. The event proved that debating is more than just argument; it’s an art of persuasion and resilience. If debates had an Olympics, Symcharcha would be the grand arena!

From the Desk of HR Club

This place, once just a club, quickly became my second home—a space where I found my people, kindred spirits who shared my love for creativity and the power of ideas. For me, the Literary Club (Symvaad, MunSoc, Eunoia, and Sympatrika) has been so much more than just a collection of words and literature. It has been about growth, nurturing, and, most importantly, giving back to the club that gave me so much. Also Leading two of our flagship events Symcharcha and SYMUNC has been a journey of growth, offering invaluable lessons in leadership & collaboration. No matter where you come from or where you're headed, the Literary Club will always have a place for you.

My journey as Deputy Head of the Literary Club has been nothing short of transformative. It deepened my love for words—beyond academics, into poetry, debates, and storytelling—while connecting me with a community that became family. Leading this club honed my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, shaping me as much as any classroom ever could.

The Literary Club will give you more than you can imagine—make it yours, and let it shape you too.
